Connecting South Korean AR Technology with Brazilian Academic Innovation
P&C Solution × Escola de Engenharia Mauá
Project Overview
JK Bridge Global facilitated a strategic collaboration between P&C Solution, a South Korean startup focused on augmented reality glasses, and the Escola de Engenharia Mauá, one of Brazil’s leading engineering institutions. The partnership was established to support applied research within Mauá’s autonomous vehicle program, using P&C Solution’s AR glasses as a core platform for developing a new application designed specifically for autonomous mobility environments.
This collaboration connects emerging AR technology with academic research across different markets, cultures, and innovation ecosystems, creating a structured environment for experimentation, learning, and long-term value creation.
Challenge
P&C Solution was seeking meaningful, real-world application scenarios for its augmented reality glasses, particularly within advanced mobility and research-driven environments. At the same time, the Escola de Engenharia Mauá aimed to expand the technological scope of its autonomous vehicle research by integrating tools that would expose students to technologies being developed by the global startup ecosystem.
The challenge was to design a collaboration that went beyond a simple technology showcase, resulting in a project with academic relevance, technical depth, and long-term potential for both organizations.
Strategy
JK Bridge Global acted as the strategic intermediary, identifying alignment between P&C Solution’s technological capabilities and Mauá’s research objectives in autonomous systems. The strategy focused on enabling co-development rather than one-sided adoption, ensuring that the AR technology would be actively embedded within Mauá’s research workflow while generating valuable insights for the startup’s ongoing product development.
Special attention was given to managing cultural context, communication style, and expectations between a South Korean technology startup and a Brazilian academic institution, ensuring clarity, trust, and structural alignment from the outset.
Execution
Following the formalization of the partnership, Mauá integrated P&C Solution’s augmented reality glasses into its autonomous vehicle laboratory environment. Engineering students and faculty began developing an application tailored to the vehicle, using AR as an interface for visualization, interaction, and system awareness in autonomous driving scenarios.
JK Bridge Globalsupported the initial coordination process, helping align academic timelines, technical objectives, and stakeholder expectations to ensure the collaboration progressed in a structured and sustainable way.
Outcomes and Ongoing Impact
The project is currently ongoing, with the application under active development and scheduled for formal presentation at the Mauá Engineering Symposium at the end of 2026. In addition to the technical output, the collaboration has established a foundation for continued academic and industry exchange, offering P&C Solution direct exposure to applied research in autonomous mobility, while giving Mauá students hands-on experience with cutting-edge augmented reality technology.
This initiative demonstrates how international collaboration can translate emerging technology into practical research applications within an academic context.
Why This Case Matters
This case highlights JK Bridge Global’s ability to operate beyond traditional marketing delivery, facilitating cross-border partnerships that connect innovation, education, and applied research. By aligning a South Korean AR startup with a Brazilian engineering institution, JK Bridge Global enabled a collaboration grounded in strategy, context, and long-term value.
The project reflects the company’s capacity to build meaningful connections within global innovation ecosystems, supporting initiatives that generate learning, credibility, and sustainable impact for all parties involved.
